The personell was very kind and very forthcoming. We had some unusual requests and they fulfilled them without hesitation. We even got a small tour and history lesson of the hotel from the night guard, that was pretty awesome. The rooms need some maintenance, nothing too much but there are details that need finishing touch. Very comfortable bed, jacuzzi and a balcony is a big plus. Looking forward to coming back here.

The concept is really good, the place is cute but the need for renovation is becoming urgent. The two person whirlpool in the bedrooms are awesome but mine lost several nozzles and the taps were moving as if they were hanging loose on the water pipes. The restaurant has a good choice and nice quality. The candle light atmosphere and the settings are very romantic. The only negative aspect is that you should have a flash light to read the menu

Such a lovely place! At evening live classic music, friendly staff- the exception was one short woman who was very unpleasant ( not nice ) and therefore did not fit in with the rest of the staff and the place so charming. Really good coffee and OK breakfast- honey was delicious! Definitely ill back in summer time-I hope the bonfires are organized.

My parent live close by and we wanted needed a place to stay. I grew up in this part of the Netherlands and appreciate the authenticity - the hotel is a farmhouse and barn that has been turned into a beautiful hotel. The receptionist was very welcoming. Ample parking on the property. Beautiful and spacious room with a build out that was used for my daughter extra bed, and had its own curtains, almost a small separate side room. The room has radiant floor heating and an air conditioner unit that also serves as additional heating in the wintertime. Comfortable king size bed, plenty of nice towels. Large - two person - soaking tub/ Jacuzzi. Breakfast was served in room because of local COVID measures, but the restaurant downstairs - in the renovated/ remodeled barn, was lovely, with Christmas tree/ decorations and a cozy atmosphere. The original house – front of the property is turned into a high-end restaurant, unfortunately closed because of COVID measures, we peaked in and it looked wonderful as well as the menu options. Breakfast, included in the room rate, has many options, including local specialty breads and pastries. WIFI worked well, fairly fast – Noticeable as many hotels it’s just mediocre speed. The room has a modest size LCD tv mounted across from the bed. There is a spa we did not use – no time unfortunately. Overall, a wonderful surprise is a less touristy part of the country. The owner told me they would close for the 1Q22 because of local COVID situation. After that, on my next trip to the Netherlands – I will be back for sure.

The hotel is old, so you should not expect modernity, we were there for two nights and I think it is enough for such a hotel, Below I mention plus and minus points: Plus points: Atmosphere of old times, Beautiful from the outside, Cozy garden, Bubble bath, Good room service, Nice restaurant atmosphere, Friendly employees, Minus points: Too expensive for that price, It says 4 star hotel but not worth more than 2 star, Bubble bath was not clean, Bed was old and rubbed, A lot annoying flies, No possibility to get fresh air to room, No ventilation in bathroom, Bubble bath is working to 23:00 hr, Fridge was broken inside, No possibility to go to balcony, More than 10 big spiders in the room, Many spider nets in the room, We talked to employee about spiders and the flies they promise to clean them up but after we came back nothing was cleaned up, Parking lot is far from hotel, At night there is no lighting between parking lot and hotel entrance that we had to use our mobile light, Very limited and simple breakfast like 1 or 2 star hotel. So sorry but we deffinitely dont come back, See the pics

A beautiful Hotel charming as a landgood from the past centuries while being equipped with modern facilities as a generous Sauna and Pool Area. We were very pleased of the friendly staff and the Lady of the house, who is fond of dogs and was very kind to our two. The breakfast was very good. We recommend this place without reservation.
